UMABOT sa P171.14 bilyong halaga ng mga proyekto ang inaprobahan sa unang National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) sa ilalim ng administrasyong Duterte.
“Once implemented and completed, these approved projects will help attain our medium and long-term development goals of making the agricultural sector competitive, improving mobility by making our transport system safer and more efficient, increasing disaster resiliency, and improving health services,” ani Socio Economic Planning Secretary Ernesto Pernia.
Kabilang sa siyam proyekto ang Inclusive Partnership for Agricultural Competitiveness (IPAC) ng Department of Agriculture na nakatuon sa pag-ayuda sa maliliit na magbubukid at farmer organizations sa 50 agrarian reform community clusters sa 44 lalawigan sa 14 rehiyon sa bansa na nagkakahalaga ng P10.2 bilyon na matatapos sa loob ng limang taon.
Kasama rin sa binigyan ng go signal ang Eastern Visayas Regional Medical Center Modernization (EVRMC) Project ng Department of Health (DOH) na magpapalawak ng kapasidad ng regional medical center mula sa 325-bed sa 500-bed capacity na paglalaanan ng P2.4 bilyon at inaasahang makokompleto sa loob ng 30 buwan.
Inaprobahan din ang P2.2 billion Modernization of Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital Project ng DoH; ang P23.5 billion Metro Manila Flood Management Project, Phase I ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA); P37.8 billion Metro Manila Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) – EDSA ng Department of Transportation (DOTr); P4.8 billion Passenger Terminal Building (PTB) Area ng Bicol International Airport ng DOTr at Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP); P7.8 billion New Bohol Airport Construction at Sustainable Environment Protection Project ng DOTr at CAAP; PhP74.6 billion Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) PPP Project ng DOTr at Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) at P8 billion Maritime Safety Capability Improvement Project para sa Philippine Coast Guard.
