‘Hello Ronnie’ tape magdidiin kay De Lima — Palasyo

IHAHAIN sa hukuman ang wiretapped conversation ng sinasabing driver-lover ni Sen. Leila de Lima at isang drug lord na nakapiit sa New Bilibid Prison (NBP) para patunayan ang illegal drug trade sa pambansang piitan.

Sinabi ni Chief Presidential Legal Counsel (CPLC) Salvador Panelo, kasama sa ilalabas na ebidensiya laban sa mga personalidad na tinukoy ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na sabit sa “Muntinlupa Connection”ang pag-uusap ni Ronnie Dayan, ang driver-lover ni De Lima, at isang drug lord sa NBP.

“E di ba ini-announce na ni Pres. Duterte na nandoon ang drug lords sa Muntinlupa so ‘di na kailangan sabihin. Tandaan ninyo meron siyang sinabi na na-intercept ‘yung conversation between that drug lord and the driver. So, siguro, kasama na ‘yun sa ebidensiyang ilalabas,” ani Panelo.

Para patunayan aniya na naganap ang pag-uusap ng dalawa ay maaaring ipatawag sa korte si Dayan.

“Well you know, the illegality of a taped conversation not being able, as evidence in court, does not remove and or alter the fact that there was a taped conversation and there’s a truth to what you hear in that conversation, which is the involvement of the people involved in that converstaion. You can present the persons involved. You still can…’di ba sabi ni Pres. Duterte baka ipresenta pa raw niya ‘yung driver. E kung ‘yung driver mismo, pwede na,” giit ni Panelo.

Noong Linggo ng madaling araw ay isiniwalat ni Pangulong Duterte sa isang press conference sa Davao City na isang “foreign country” ang nagbigay ng kopya ng wiretapped conversation nina Dayan at drug lord sa NBP at automated teller machine (ATM) card kung saan pumasok ang pera mula sa drug deals.

“What is really crucial here is that because of her [romantic] relationship with her driver which I termed ‘immoral’ because the driver has a family and wife, that connection gave rise to the corruption of what was happening inside the national penitentiary. That is why the inmates had special privileges. All of this could have only happened if there was a go-signal from the head of the department, which is the secretary,” ayon sa Pangulo.

DUMISTANSYA ang Amerika sa pagdawit ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kay Sen. Leila de Lima sa operasyon ng illegal drugs.

Pinaigting ng US ang panawagan sa administrasyong Duterte na tiyakin ang mga tagapagpatupad ng batas ay tumatalima sa obligasyong igalang ang karapatang pantao ngunit walang pakialam ang Amerika kung ang pinakamahigpit na kritiko ng extrajudicial killings sa bansa na si Sen. De Lima ay isinangkot sa illegal drug trade ni Pangulong Duterte.

Samantala, nananatiling bukas ang Palasyo sa mga opinyon at posisyon ng ibang bansa sa mga kaganapan sa Filipinas, ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Ernesto Abella.

Gaya ni Trudeau ay iginiit ni Abella na solido at maganda ang ugnayan ng US at Filipinas sa kabila nang panawagan ng Amerika sa bansa na pairalin ang rule of law at respeto sa karapatang pantao sa isinusulong na drug war ng administrasyong Duterte.

“We just like to say that we’re open to the opinions and positions of certain governments. But, we’d like to just say, we’d also like to reiterate that the relationship between the US and the Philippines remains basically solid and we do have a good relationship,” ani Abella.

Nauna rito’y pinintasan ni Duterte ang aniya’y walang habas na pambobomba ng US sa Syria na ikinamatay ng mga inosenteng sibilyan at pamamaril sa black people na mas masahol na human rights violations kaysa napapatay ng mga pulis na sangkot sa illegal drug operations.

“When you bomb Syria and Iraq and you kill communities and you kill children and all people, and hospital, what is it? And why is it that United States is not doing anything?” ayon sa Pangulo hinggil sa “human rights violations concerns” ng US at United Nations sa bansa mula nang maluklok siya sa Palasyo.

10 TESTIGO VS DE LIMA — PALASYO

INIHAYAG ng Malacañang, aabot sa 10 testigo laban kay Sen. Leila de Lima ang haharap kaugnay sa illegal drugs operations sa New Bilibid Prison (NBP).

Sinabi ni Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo, bukod sa anim na testigo na magdidiin kay De Lima, may bago pang apat na witness ang Department of Justice (DoJ).

Aniya, nakausap niya si Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre at nasa proseso nang pagkuha ng mga sinumpaang salaysay.

Gayonman, ipinauubaya ni Panelo kay Aguirre kung kailan ihahain ang kaso sa korte laban kay De Lima at sa iba pang persolinadad na dawit sa ilegal na droga.

Base sa ipinalabas na drug matrix ni Pangulong Duterte, bukod kina De Lima at Dayan, dawit din sa operasyon si dating Justice Undersecretary Francisco Baraan, ret. police general Franklin Bucayu, dating Pangasinan governor at ngayo’y 5th District Rep. Amado Espino at Pangasinan Provincial Administrator Raffy Baraan.
