Mayor Espinosa aarestohin na (Sa armas at droga)

BILANG na ang maliligayang oras sa laya ni Albuerra, Leyte Mayor Rolando Espinosa dahil hinihintay na lamang na ilabas ang warrant of arrest ng korte para siya ay arestohin.

Sa press briefing sa Palasyo kahapon, sinabi ni Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary (DILG) Ismael Sueno, mga kasong illegal possession of firearms and illegal drugs ang isinampa ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) laban kay Espinosa makaraan makompiska ang 11 kilo ng shabu sa kanyang bahay.

“As to the mayor of Albuera, he is back to his office because…I spoke to General Bato yesterday, he said that there is no warrant of arrest yet issued against him but the CIDG has already filed cases of illegal possession and the possession of 11 kilos of shabu and we are just waiting for the warrant of arrest to come out to arrest him immediately,” ani Sueno.

Kompiyansa si Sueno na hindi makatatakas si Espinosa oras na mailabas ang warrant dahil may nakaposteng mga pulis sa kanya.

Matatandaan, makaraan magpalabas ng “shoot on sight order” si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kay Espinosa, agad siyang nagtungo sa CIDG ngunit makalipas ang dalawang araw, pinakawalan dahil sa kawalan ng kasong naisampa sa korte.
