INAKUSAHAN ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Sen. Leila de Lima na nagpapanggap na konsensiya ng bayan pero nagmula sa illegal drugs at iba pang aktibidad na labag sa batas sa New Bilibid Prison (NBP) ang campaign funds.
Tinukoy ni Duterte sa press conference sa Cebu Pacific Cargo sa Terminal 4 sa Pasay City ang pangalan ni De Lima bilang ang lady senator na binanggit niya sa nauna niyang talumpati sa ika-115 taon anibersaryo ng police service sa Camp Crame na ibinili pa ang lover na driver-bodyguard ng bahay at ipinangolekta ng pondo para ipantustos sa halalan.
“I can. Because it’s part of my duty. Okay naman ako. You want to know the name? De Lima,” anang Pangulo nang usisain ng media sa paliparan kung sino ang tinukoy niyang lady senator.
“Here is an immoral woman, flaunting well of course, in so far as wife of the driver was concerned, its adultery, here is a woman who funded the house of her lover and yet we do not see any complaint about it. Those money came readily from drugs. The intercept between Muntinlupa and the driver were far beyond making sure that somebody was involved,” ani Duterte sa Camp Crame.
Nanalo aniya si De Lima sa halalan sa platapormang protector ng human rights pero niloko lang ang mga botante.
Ang pahayag ng Pangulo ay bunsod nang pagsusulong ni De Lima na imbestigahan ang nagaganap na patayan kaugnay sa drug war ng administrasyong Duterte.
“And here is a senator complaining when one day I will tell you that her driver herself who was her lover was the one also collecting money for her during the campaign,” ani Duterte.
“But in fairness, I would never state here that the driver gave the money to her but by the looks of it, she has it. ‘Yan ang mahirap dito e namomolitika, posturing when you yourself has a very sordid personal unofficial life,” anang Pangulo.
Giit ng Pangulo, may hawak siyang compact disc (CD) na aniya’y ebidensiya sana niyang ilalabas nang paimbestigahan siya ni noo’y Justice Secretary De Lima bilang sangkot sa Davao Death Squad (DDS).
“I will show to you. I have the CD when she first investigated me in Davao for human rights violation before press entering the hotel lobby she said I will prove that duterte is connected with the DDS. Davao death squad. Until now she keeps on yakking and has forgotten the tape which I have recorded,” aniya.
“I would like her to eat it in her presence but I could not do it because it’s not an accepted edible food for human beings,” anang Pangulo.
Tiniyak ng Pangulo na hindi niya tatalikuran ang responsibilidad sa kampanya kontra-droga ng kanyang administrasyon at nakahanda siyang humarap sa ano mang imbestigasyon kaugnay rito.
“We in government and I myself who ordered the campaign against drugs take full sole responsibility for it and for those who are killed in a police operation and a firefight, we are willing to submit ourselves for an investigation before anybody and I would like also to just say why would the United Nations to be easy to be swayed into interfering in the affairs of this republic?” aniya.
Pinangunahan ng Pangulo ang pagsalubong sa paliparan sa labi ni PO3 Darwin Espallardo, isa sa tatlong sundalong nasawi sa drug operations sa Maguindanao kamakailan.
