AS part of the yearly celebration of the Pahinungod Festival of Carrascal, Surigao del Sur, Hon. Mayor Vicente VJ Hotchkiss Pimentel III has invited through Front Desk Entertainment Production the following artists on different dates to perform and grace their week-long fiesta celebration.
On July 11 darating sina Jaya with comic duo AJ Tamiza and Le Chazz for the opening salvo. The next day, July 12, gaganapin ang Michael Sounds Familiar in Carrascal with young music heartthrob Michael Pangilinan along with guestsMorisette Amon, Boobsie Wonderland and Randy Santiago on live band accompaniment. Sa July 13 naman ang dating nina Kyla, Marco Sison, Rowel Quizon (who replaced Hashtag Nikko Seagal Natividad dahil biglaan ang pagpasok nito sa PBB Lucky 7 Edition) and Imelda Papin para alayan ang mga taga-Carrascal ng kanilang magagandang awitin. Sa July 14 ang Band Night nila with Hale as special guest artists. Sa July 15 ang dating nina Billy Crawford,Sam Pinto, Pepay and Tammy Brown, the Quack Diva. Sa July 16 naman ang pageant night nila with some celebrities as guest performers and judges.
“Sarap bumiyahe with a full band. For sure lalong mai-enjoy ng mga tao ang inihanda naming repertoire for them because we are performing on a live band accompaniment. Yayanigin ang plaza ng Carrascal sa July 12 kaya humanda na kayo. Ha! Ha! Ha!” excited na sabi ni Michael.
“Ilang beses na akong naimbitahan to perform sa Surigao del Sur and finally natuloy din. Lagi kasing may conflict sa schedule ko kaya ‘di ako natutuloy. Now, tuloy na tuloy na,” sabi naman ni Ms. Papin na paborito ng mga oldies doon.
Gaganapin ang event sa municipal plaza ng Carrascal, Surigao del Sur on those days kaya abangan!
