“IN three weeks Pacquiao will be ready to kill anyone who crosses his path,” pahayag ni Trainer Freddie Roach sa PhilBoxing.com.
“I like where he’s (Pacquiao) now. And everybody in the team feels the same way, too,” pahayag ni 55-year-old Roach pagkatapos ng routine training session sa Wild Card, na bumuo ng 12 rounds sa mitts at speed balls.
Pahayag pa ng five-time trainer of the year na sa haba ng kanilang pagsasama ni Pacquiao sa larangan ng boksing, nabigla siya sa dobleng ikinikilos nito ngayon sa kanilang matitinding training.
“I haven’t seen him more interested about what I’m teaching him and what I’m showing him,” pahayag niya. “He’s been responding really, really great. I really like where he is at right now. This is the first time we’re facing a fighter like Mayweather. And Mayweather, too, hasn’t fought a boxer of Manny’s caliber.
“I think in the many years that we’re together, I’ve never seen Manny dislikes his opponent as now,” dagdag pa niya. “I like that because that means he’s back with his killer instinct he has never shown the past previous fights.”
“With what I’ve been seeing, I believe in two or three more weeks, he’ll be ready to kill anybody who’ll cross his path, including the guy who’s sporting a 47-0 (win-loss) record,” pandidiin niya. “When the fight ends and I believe it’s via stoppage, he’ll be 47-1.”
