“The casts of Marineros are Michael de Mesa, Ahron Villena, Valerie Concepcion, Claire Ruiz, Jon Lucas, Jef Gaitan, Alvin Nakasi, Moses Loyola and Paul Hernandez.
“I am very thankful to all the casts of Marineros because they delivered more than I expected. Itong movie is a family drama that tackles about the life of a seafarer, it is a heart warming film that can give a lesson to everybody to treasure everyone’s effort and appreciate the fruit of their labor,” saad ni Direk Anthony.
Dagdag niya, “Although this is my first time to work with direk Michael de Mesa, I am very thankful to him. As far as I know, this project is his comeback movie. At gumaganap siya rito ng isang very challenging role bilang si Dennis Marisol, a former seaman that suffers blindness cause by his accident during his duty at the ship.
Ang iba pang kalahok na pelikula rito ay Rendezvous, Maid In London, 1957, Jesusa, at Kids of War. Sina Vic V. Vizcocho Jr. at Arlyn Dela Cruz ang festival directors ng SBIFF.
