Sa isang occasion ng Asap Natin ‘To, pinuna ng dalawang netizen ang pagiging pandak raw ni Yassi Pressman.

Hindi naman na-offend si Yassi at nagsabing baka raw dahil sa hindi pantay ang stage or words to that effect.

Sa totoo lang, halos pantay lang naman ang height nina Yassi at sa ikino-compare ritong si Nadine Lustre.

Philippine Queen of Jazz Annie Brazil dies

Pumanaw na ang tinaguriang Queen of Jazz of the Philippines na si Annie Brazil.

She passed away last Tuesday evening at the age of 86.

Since November 2017 ay in and out of the hospital na si Annie after suffering from a massive stroke.

Bumuhos naman agad ang bugso ng pakikiramay ng mga kaibigan at kakilala ng singer sa kanyang Facebook account at sa anak niyang si James Merk, also a gifted performer.

Annie started singing when she was barely six years old in front of the American soldiers at Clark Air Base and at Jimmy’s Night Spot along Dewey Boulevard.

Sa kanyang pagdadalaga, she went to Okinawa, Japan where she was able to meet the father of his son Richard Merk named James Bernard Merk, an American Air Force disc jockey.

Wayback in the year 1959, Annie married an American named David Wolfe where she had seven children, the most prominent of which happened to be former singer/actress Ann Wolfe.

Naghiwalay sina Annie at David noong taong 1972.

Her remains are lying in state at the Loyola Memorial Chapels in Guadalupe, Makati.

Magsisimula ang public viewing mamayang alas-dose ng tanghali, March 6.
