Lauren Young’s relationship with Elmo Magalona lasted for three years that’s why she was asked about him at the presscon of Hiram Na Anak that was staged at the 17th floor of GMA Network Center last February 18.
As usual, Lauren’s a reporter’s delight because she is not one to use the word off the record. As expected, she was able to answer all questions pertaining to Elmo.
To date, Elmo’s mom Pia Magalona is still Lauren’s manager.
Nang mag-break raw sila ni Elmo, sinabi raw niya kay Pia but she said that they were okay and on speaking terms.
Working with Pia is something that she has always loved. Hindi raw siya nauubusan nang projects at ang gaganda lagi ng mga nakukuha nito.
Dahil open naman si Lauren, tinanong siya sa kanyang reaksiyon sa akusasyon ni Janellang she was physically hurt by Elmo.
“I know Elmo very differently,” she said. “I mean, siyempre ang pangit kasi if I would say I believe the girl, then what will my management say about it?
“But if I say that I believe the boy, then everyone’s gonna be, like, ‘Oh, you’re a victim blamer!’
“But for me, the safest answer and most showbiz answer for tonight is, it’s none of my business, because hindi ko kilala si Janella.”
When asked if there was an instance that she was physically hurt by Elmo, he answer was very much on the negative.
“Do you think someone can hit me? Sapakin kita riyan, upuan ko lang sila… charot!”
Pero sa kasong ito, someone is lying but definitely.
Basta wala raw siyang awkward feeling in the event that she and Elmo should meet.
“Nag-birthday ‘yung anak ni Saab recently so I went. He was there.
“Actually, palagi ko siyang nakikita kapag may mga birthday or whatever, kasi I’m friends with Saab.
“Wala lang, hi lang.”
Open nga pala sa publiko ang relasyon ni Lauren at ng kanyang non-showbiz boyfriend na si Robbie Garcia.
And with that, ito po ang Kuya Pete ninyo na nagsasabing, Christopher, my son, I love you very, very much, my love for you goes beyond eternity.
