IPINATUPAD ng Marikina City government kahapon ang mandatory evacuation sa lungsod.
Sinabi ni Marikina City mayor Marcelino Teodoro, umabot sa alarm level 3 ang water level sa Marikina Ri-ver (18 meters above sea level).
Ayon kay Mayor Teo-doro, lahat ng mamamayan sa lungsod ay pinapayuhang lumikas sa kanilang mga bahay at pumunta sa designa-ted evacuation centers.
Umiikot ang rescue teams para sunduin ang mga nakatira sa low-lying areas.
“Alarm level three or mandatory evacuation is strictly enforced in Marikina City as the Marikina River’s water level reach 18 meters above sea level as of 4:18PM today. Residents are advised to leave their houses immediately and go to their designated evacuation centers. Rescue teams are now roaming around low lying areas of the city to pick up stranded residents,” ani Mayor Teodoro.
