Arroyo Deputy Speaker ng Kamara

ITINALAGA si dating Pangulo at ngayo’y Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo bilang Deputy Speaker ng House of Representatives.

Ayon kay Arroyo, siya ang kakatawan sa Central Luzon bloc ng mababang kapulungan.

Sinabi ng mambabatas, si bloc president at Bulacan Rep. Linabelle Villarica ang nag-nominate sa kanya sa posisyon.

“We had our lunch together and then our president Linabelle Villarica, she told our fellow members, ‘We would like to nominate our former President to be our representative as Deputy Speaker’ so I was very glad and clapped, okay, approve, approve. That’s how it goes,” aniya.

Magugunitang ibinasura nitong Hulyo 19 ng Supreme ang plunder case laban kay Arroyo, nagresulta sa paglabas niya mula sa pagkakapiit sa Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC).
