HINAMON ng Palasyo ang iba pang hinihinalang drug lords na lumabas at linisin ang kanilang pangalan.
Ang panawagan ng Malacañang ay makaraan mag-usap sina Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at Peter Lim, ang druglord na sinasabing binigyan ng proteksiyon ng narco general at ngayo’y Daanbantayan, Cebu mayor Vicente Loot.
“The alleged drug lord Peter Lim has come out in the open. He cleared his name and he has expressed his intention to the President that he will do just that. Now, the burden now is in Peter Lim and we do encourage the rest of the suspects to do the same,” ani Andanar.
Pinayuhan ni Andanar ang publiko na abangan ang magiging resulta ng final investigation base sa mga ebidensiya na maipakikita ni Lim para pasinungalingan ang akusasyon sa kanya.
“Let’s just wait until the final investigation comes out. Let’s just wait for Mr. Peter Lim’s evidence and what he can show to clear him from this allegation,” dagdag niya.
Habang pinabulaanan ni Andanar ang mga bintang na maliliit na drug users lamang ang pinapatay habang ang drug lords ay binibigyan ng due process ng administrasyong Duterte.
“The operation of the Philippine National Police has always been in pursuit of those who are peddling and pushing drugs,” sabi ni Andanar.
