Museum ng popo binuksan sa Great Britain

ANG bagong bukas na museum sa Great Britain ay nangangakong dadalhin ang mga bisita sa kailaliman ng ‘bowel movements.’

Ang National Poo Museum ay binuksan kamakailan lamang sa Isle of Wight Zoo.

Maaaring makita ng mga bisita ang excrement-oriented exhibits katulad ng dumi mula sa mahigit 20 iba’t ibang hayop, kabilang ang elks, lions at human baby, at maging ang fossilized poo (o coprolites) na mula pa noong 140 million years, ayon sa BBC.

Sinabi ni Nigel George, kabilang sa crap curators, ang dahilan ng pagbubukas ng museum na alay para sa popo, ay simple:

“Poo provokes strong reactions.”

“Small children naturally delight in it but later we learn to avoid this yucky, disease-carrying stuff, and that even talking about poo is bad,” pahayag niya sa Hartlepool Mail. ”But for most of us, under the layers of disgust and taboo, we’re still fascinated by it.”

Upang matiyak na hindi umalingasaw ang amoy ng popo sa museum, nagtayo ang curators ng special dung dryer, pahayag ni co-curator Daniel Roberts.

“A stick insect poo can be desiccated completely in an hour or so, but a lion poo can take a fortnight to dry out,” ayon kay Roberts, sa ulat ng NDTV.com.
