Bunsod ng APEC holiday, NCR may make-up classes – DepEd

BUNSOD ng abalang dulot ng pagho-host ng Filipinas sa Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Meeting, magkakaroon ng make-up classes ang mga mag-aaral.

Sinabi ni Education Secretary Armin Luistro, bahala na ang school superintendents kung kailan gagawin ang make-up classes.

Nakasaad sa academic year ng Department of Education (DepEd), mayroong 201 araw para magklase ang mga mag-aaral.

‘’Each NCR division will decide on the most expeditious way of making up for the missed classes as part of the APEC hosting. These have been announced by the respective superintendents when they gave notice of the APEC schedule to the principals,’’ wika ni Luistro.

Kung maaalala, sa ipinalabas na Proclamation No. 1072 ng Malacañang, idineklara nitong non-working holidays ang November 18 at 19 dahil sa ‘hosting’ ng bansa sa APEC Summit.

Habang may deklarasyon ang DepEd ng class suspension mula Nobyembre 17 at 20, 2015 para sa lahat ng paaralan sa Metro Manila kaugnay ng APEC Summit.
