HINDI lang sa Pilipinas naibabalita ang lakas ng AlDub at hindi lang sw mga broadsheet at tabloid sa ‘Pinas napo-frontpage sina Alden Richards at Maine Mendoza.
Kahit ang sikat na international news network-organization sa UK na BBC, ay narecognize at ibinalita ang phenomenon loveteam na AlDub.
“It is a surreal and wildly popular show which has smashed global social media records. But few outside the Philippines have even heard of the phenomenon called AlDub.
“What follows is everything you need to know about lip-synching, being in love with somebody you have never met and how to break records on Twitter,” sambit nila sa report.
Dagdag pa nila, “Each week, an episode spawned multiple and hugely popular Twitter hashtags to this end.
“On 24 October, fans got their wish and for the first time, finally got to see the couple meet – on the set of a huge charity concert celebrating the show’s 36th anniversary.
“Thousands attended the event and in just one day, the hashtag #AlDubEBTamangPanahon (translation: AlDub, in the right time) drew more than 41 million tweets, smashing the previous Twitter record held by Brazil’s 2014 Fifa World Cup defeat to Germany.”
Sa huli, sinabi pa nila na, ”And it isn’t just the local fans. US politicians and even alternative rock bands, have declared their love for the show and its young stars.”
Inilarawan pa ng BBC ang AlDub bilang Social Media Phenomenon.
O ‘di ba naman nakaka-proud na ang isang intl. network eh, naglaan ng oras na ibalita ang pangyayaring ito ukol sa longest noontime show ng ‘Pinas, ang Eat Bulaga! at sa AlDub.
