SINABI ni Dawn Zulueta na natutuwa siya sa pagkakataong makasama si Bea Alonzo sa pelikulang The Love Affair na showing na sa August 12.
“Na-excite ako when I found out that we were going to work with Bea. I never thought that I would have an opportunity to work with her. But fortunately and unfortunately, we only had one scene but it’s to watch out for,” pahayag ng magandang aktres.
Ano naman ang masasabi niya kay Bea bilang aktres? “I only have one scene with Bea unfortunately, but the one whole night na shinoot namin iyong one scene na iyon together, natuwa naman ako sa kanya kasi, she’s such a dedicated actress.
“I can understand what she feels like, kasi, once upon a time, ako rin ‘yung younger who was working with the senior stars, hindi ba? Ako kasi, I’m really generous as an actress. Kasi I’d like to help the younger ones get involved and be comfortable.
“Kasi, I’m working at getting the scene real. E, napaka-intense ng eksena na sinu-shoot natin so, bina-block pa lang namin, I just wanted her to feel lang na, we’ll gonna do this together.
“Sabi ko, ‘Bea, halika tara na, let’s do this.’ Tapos siya naman, ‘Game!’ I like that, I like that about her. Sana this is not the last time that I’ll work with her. She’s a very competent actress and I think, she will reach much further and I hope I will still be there along the way and work with more projects with her.”
Nilinaw din ni Dawn na ang pelikula nilang ito nina Richard Gomez at Bea na pinamahalaan ni Direk Nuel Naval ay hindi isang mistress movie. “It looks that way but it’s not really what it is. Its focus really is more on the characters and what they are going through.
“Each character kasi is going through the phase na they need happiness, they need forgiveness and healing. People will be able to relate to this because the characters are very real.”
Ang The Love Affair ay ukol sa tatlong tao na pinag-isa ng pag-ibig. Ang isa sa kanila ay si Patricia (Dawn) na naghahanap ng ka-patawaran matapos gawin ang pinakamalaking pagkakamali sa kanyang buhay. Ang isa pa ay si Vince (Richard), na naghaha-ngad na maging mabuting asawa at provider, na gagawin ang pinakamalaking desisyon sa kanyang buhay. At si Adie (Bea), isang babaeng nadurog ang puso na naghahanap ng ligaya sa buhay matapos makipaghiwalay sa dati niyang minamahal.
Saksihan kung hanggang saan ang kayang ibigay nina Patricia, Vince, at Adie upang makamit ang kaligaya-han, kapatawaran, at paghilom ng kanilang mga sugatang puso.
