Munti gov’t gets serious in info dissemination

THE City Government of Muntinlupa gets down to nitty-gritty of internal communication in the local government to further services and programs for Muntinlupeños.

Muntinlupa Public Information Office (PIO) head Tez Valencia-Navarro initiated to establish an information dissemination body and designated information officers in each departments for a fast-paced data gathering meeting the public’s need to know government programs.

Navarro said this shift to an improved communication will facilitate transparency and excellence in government transactions as the bar for broadcasting of administration service is raised.

45 Information Officers took oath last January 23, before Mayor Jaime “JRF” Fresnedi to formally live out their pledge in taking part of the speedy internal communication.

Fresnedi expressed high hopes for the officers to carry out their responsibilities in cooperating to this cause of upgraded public service.

“You have an important role to play in propagating our services and programs to make it effective. We all have a lot in our plates, but nothing is impossible with our sincere hearts to convene and serve the people.” The mayor explained.

The local government means business in addressing the needs of constituency, through communication, leaving a self-serving mindset and forwarding for a better government.
