Ai Ai umalma sa parusang persona non grata ng QC Council

NAGLABAS ng statement si Ai Ai de las Alas thru her lawyer Atty. Charo V. Rejuso-Munsayac dahil  sa inilabas na resolusyon ng Quezon City Council  declaring Ai Ai as persona non grata ng syudad pati na si director Darryl Yap.

Kaugnay ito ng ng isang video na kumalat sa social media noong kampanya na umano’y, “malicious and unscrupulous defacing the official seal of Quezon City”at ang character ni Ai Ai ay may name na Ligaya Delmonte.

Bahagi ng statement na inilabas ng lawyer, “We strongly condemn this act of Quezon City Council which endangers the protection granted by the freedom of expression for artists, entertainers, content creators and comedians who use satire or parody to express sentiments or criticize public acts or figures. This also endangers livelihood since it appears to be a form of cancellation making them wary to take on similar work in fear that public officials will retaliate in similar fashion.”
