HINDI napigil ng Covid-19 pandemic ang Miss World coronation night dahil tuloy na tuloy ito sa March 16, 2022 sa Puerto Rico Coliseum Jose Miguel Agrelot.
Noong December 16 dapat ang 70th Miss World coronation night pero hindi natuloy dahil sa mga kandidata at staff na nag-positive sa COVID-19.

Lahat ng mga ticket na binili para sa December 16 na nakansela ay magagamit pa rin sa Marso.
