Ambush sa politiko ugat ng pagsibak sa Bacolod PNP officials

IT’S a strange behavior.

Ito ang obserbasyon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa pagdadala sa ospital ng hepe ng Bacolod City Police na si S/Supt. Francis Ebreo sa isang local politician at kan­yang misis na tinamba­ngan sa siyudad noong nakaraang buwan.

Sa ambush interview kahapon, iginiit ng Pa­ngu­lo na isang dekada na ang nakalilipas ay nasa listahan na umano ng Philippine Drug Enforce­ment Agency (PDEA) si Bacolod City Councilor Ricardo “Cano” Tan dahil sa pagkakasangkot sa illegal drugs.

Si Cano at misis niyang si Nita ay naka­ligtas sa ambush noong nakalipas na buwan nang agad na magtungo sa pinakamalapit na police station sa Bacolod City at dinala sila sa pagamutan ni Ebreo.

“And you know there was this si Cano, a councilor has been tagged by the PDEA almost a decade ago to be engaged in trafficking, na ambush. There were about 3 ambushes before that incident na pumunta sila sa hospital, silang dalawa ng deputy niya. What’s (their?) fucking business going to the hospital of (an ambushed drug lord?) tapos nag-iwan pa sila ng dalawang security,” ani Duterte.

Para sa Pangulo, labis na nakapagtataka ang ginawa ni Ebreo.

“I could understand if you would send a top­notch investigator of the police, I would under­stand that, pero kung sila dalawa mismo the first and the second highest of police officials. Nagtataka ako kung bakit ganon,” sabi ni Duterte.

Bahagi ng sinum­pa­ang tungkulin ng isang pu­lis ang sumaklolo sa bik­tima ng krimen at tiyakin ang kaligtasan niya.

Giit ng Pangulo, hindi pinag-aralan ni Ebreo ang record ng pu­lisya sa cri­minality at drug traf­ficking sa lung­sod.

“At the very least, he’s a protector. He might not be in the trafficking busi­ness but he was really a protector. I cannot believe that with all the infor­mation available to every chief of police or city police director for that matter assigned in the province, that you would not review the record of the province in terms of criminality and drug trafficking. Hindi pinag-aralan,” aniya.

Hinarap kamakalawa ni Pangulong Duterte sina Ebreo, Supt. Richie Yatar, Supt. Nasruddin Tayuan, Sr/Insp. Victor Paulino at Supt. Allan Macapagal sa Malacañang matapos niyang sibakin sa puwesto noong Sabado.
