Baguhang aktor na si Jess may limitasyon sa pagtanggap ng role

BAGUHAN man o datihan na, target ng mga basher ang mga artista.

Tinanong namin si Jess Martinez kung paano niya naha-handle ang bashing?

Lahad niya, “When it comes to bashing, I don’t really mind them.

“Kasi there are so many positive comments, positive feedback, so why focus on the negative? Iyon po ‘yun.”

Kaya na ba talaga ni Jess na mag-showbiz fulltime or parang testing the waters pa lang?

“No po, I tested the water a year na, so this is gonna be full time na. Kasi I really love it,” aniya.

May limitations ba siya sa pag-accept ng  roles? Like mga kissing scene?

“Yes po. For now hindi talaga ako muna ok sa kissing, pero let’s see in the future po, kasi I want my career na slow but the respect is still there.

“‘Yung value ko po as a woman naroon pa rin po. So ayaw kong tumanggap ng project even if it’s super taas ng talent fee, dapat in connection pa rin siya or sa pagkatao ko.

“So I would ask my manager and at the same time my parents kung okay ba ‘yung project before we say yes, accept.”

Paano kung kailangan talaga sa eksena na may halikan?

“Mapag-uusapan naman po ‘yan. Depende pa rin po sa management ko and kay dad.”

Loveless si Jess, ano ang hinahanap niya sa isang future boyfriend?

“To be frankly, hindi naman necessarily kasing successful ng parents ko but at least mayroon man lang maibubuga or maipakikita sa parents ko, you know?

“At kaya ko naman buhayin ‘yung sarili ko but sana he can also provide. So ‘yun po. Hindi naman super-guwapo but at least guwapo naman po. At saka medyo matangkad din.”

So far, among the young stars with GMA, kanino siya nag-e-enjoy katrabaho?

“‘Yung mga kasama ko sa ‘Sanggang Dikit FR,’ close po kami lahat. May group chat po kami sa Instagram. Kami po nina Seb, Kim, James, Matthew din po. 

“Also close rin po ako kay Chanty at saka kay Zonya.”
