Opensiba iniutos ni Digong (Unilateral ceasefire binawi)

BINAWI na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang iniutos niyang unilateral ceasefire para sa rebeldeng komunista noong Hulyo 25.

Kinompirma ito dakong 7:00 pm kahapon ni Presidential Peace Adviser Jesus Dureza.

Bago ito tinabla ng New People’s Army (NPA) Southern Minadanao ang utos ni Duterte na magdeklara ng ceasefire hanggang 5:00 pm kahapon.

“Let me now announce that I am hereby ordering for the immediate lifting of the unilateral ceasefire that I ordered last July 25 against the communist rebels,” pahayag ni Pangulong Duterte.

Kasabay nito, iniutos din ng Pangulo sa Armed Forces of the Philippines at Philippine National Police na bawiin ang operational guidelines na kanilang inisyu alinsunod sa ceasefire declaration.

Iniutos din ng Pangulo sa lahat ng security forces na itaas ang alerto at ipagpatuloy ang pagpapatupad ng kanilang normal functions at mandato na i-neutralize ang lahat ng banta sa national security, protektahan ang mamamayan, ipatupad ang batas at panatilhin ang kapayapaan sa bansa.

“Correspondingly, I am ordering the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police to also withdraw the operational guidelines they issued in pursuance to that ceasefire declaration. I am ordering all security forces to be on high alert and continue to discharge their normal functions and mandate to neutralize all threats to national security, protect the citizenry , enforce the laws and maintain peace in the land,” aniya.
