Lance Raymundo, survivor!

Favorite topic sa mga showbiz-oriented talk shows si Lance Raymundo lately. Bukod sa napakagandang reconstructive surgery na ginawa sa nadurog niyang ilong at mukha, marami rin ang humahanga sa kanyang commendable attitude na wala ni katiting mang negang reaction o paninisi kung kaninuman.

In his latest guesting at Aquino & Abunda Tonight last Thursday evening, he elaborated on his nerve shattering ordeal without an iota of anger or bitterness but with appealing emphaty and compassion.

March 20 pala nang maganap ang insiden-teng halos sumira sa kanyang mukha at pati na rin sa magandang future niya sa industriya. At any rate, he’s not blaming anyone for what has happened for he knew that it was pure and simple accident.

Anyway, he was indubitably delirious and was allegedly hearing voices telling him to stay calm the day after he had an accident.

Said voice told him that after six days, he’d purportedly be okay.

Whatever, in his interview with Kuya Boy and Krizzy baby, he openly expounded of the kind of deppression that he was able to experience after the incident.

What kept him going and fighting for dear life was that resonant and cool voice telling him that if he’d persevere, things would be all right on the 6th day.

Looking back, on the second day of his almost fatal accident, in his delerious state of mind, he had the impression that he was looking at the face of God.

Side by side with the Lord, he purportedly noticed a woman who, he later recognized, as her mom’s patron saint Mother Ignacia.

His dad, he said was most vigilant, but her mom stayed with him all throughout his nerve-shattering ordeal, 24/7.

Anyway, Lance will be celebrating his 29th birthday next week and he said that he was glad to have experienced what he had gone through and hope that by way of narrating his story, he’s been able to touch the lives of other people as well.
