HINDI napigilang maiyak ng tinaguriang New Gen Dance Champ at isa sa host ng newest dance reality contest ng ABS CBN Studios and Nathan Studios, ang Time To Dance, si Gela Atayde nang magbigay ng mensahe ang kanyang kuya Arjo Atayde para sa kanya.
Ayon nga kay Gela, “We don’t talk a lot.
“So with messages like this, I get emotional.
” We’re not ma-words, me and Kuya, us siblings. Hindi kami ma-words.
So, when I get stuff like that, I get emotional ‘cause it’s like a reward and a reminder to keep going.
“Naiyak ako when he said na I never let go. That’s true.
“The video brought me back to the moments na I wanted to stop dancing or give up but then, I would remember Kuya.
“He’s really one of the people that kept me going. Seeing that and hearing all of that coming from him, it’s just so touching, eh.
“Thank you, Kuya. I love you.”
Isa rin Arjo sa gusto ni Gela na makapag-guest sa Time To Dance at makasama niyang humataw sa dance floor.
“I hope so. I’m crossing my fingers that Kuya also finds time to rehearse ’cause he’s also very busy being a congressman.
“Si Kuya po kasi he’s very meticulous when it comes to dancing. Ayaw niya ‘yung basta sasalang lang siya. He has to rehearse a week before — minimum.”
Inilahad pa ni Gela na si Cong. Arjo ang naging inspirasyon niya pagdating sa pagsayaw.
And from dancing to acting ay ang hosting naman ang susubukan ni Gela sa Time To Dance with Robi Domingo.
Makakasama rin nina Gela at Robi bilang dance coach naman sina Vimi Rivera ng Legit Status, Ken San Jose (na produkto ng World of Dance PH), AC Bonifacio, at ang total performer na si Darren Espanto.
Ang Time to Dance ay nagsimula nang mapanood noong January 18, 2025, Saturday sa Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, MYX, at WantTFC.
