Grabe ang audience reaction sa directorial debut ni Direk Ronnie Lazaro sa Cinemalaya entry ni Mr. Antonio Gedang na Edna with the multi-talented Irma Adlawan in the title role under his Artiste En- tertainment, Inc.
After seeing the film in its entirety, we do uderstand why it was able to get an A rating from the Cinema Evaluation Board.
Maganda ang direction ni Direk Ronnie and he was able to impress everyone that he was palpably in control.
Naipakita niya sa kanyang flashback scenes na interspersed while the movie was was in progress kung bakit parang may ‘complex’ ang personalidad ni Edna as brilliantly essayed by Irma Adlawan.
Sa totoo, you need to see the movie from beginning till the end for you to be able to understand the emotional demands of Direk Ronnie’s role, along with the unexpected surprise twist in the character delineated with conviction by the highly sensual Kiko Matos. Hahahahahahahahahaha!
Tiyak na magugulat kayo sa mga unexpected scenes niya with Direk Ronnie. Hahahahahahahahaha!
So, watch na sa Cinemalaya and realize that our movie industry has immense promise after all.
