Nayong Pilipino Foundation off’ls sinibak ni Duterte

SINIBAK ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang lahat ng opisyal ng Nayong Pilipino Foundation dahil sa pagpayag sa iregular na long-term lease con­tract ng isang pag-aari ng gobyerno.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, gusto ng Pangulo na kanselahin ang 70-year lease contract na umano’y “grossly dis­advanta­geous” sa pamahalaan.

“The President started the meeting by expressing his exasperation that cor­ruption continues even in his administration. He cited the case of Nayong Pilipino which leased government property for a ridiculous long period of time of 70 years beyond a lifetime of anyone,” ani Roque sa press briefing sa Palasyo kahapon.

Wala aniyang mga detalyeng sinabi ang Pangulo hinggil sa kon­trata at kung sasam­pahan ng kaso ang mga opisyal ng NPF.

Habang isinasagawa ang press briefing sa Palasyo ay idinaraos ng NPF ang groundbreaking ng proyekto sa Chinese casino investor Landing Resorts Philippines Deve­lopment Corp., sa Entertainment City.
