MAHIGIT P1 milyong halaga ng shabu ang nasamsam at naaresto ang tatlong high value individuals (HVIs) na nagbabagsak ng shabu sa small time pushers, sa isinagawang buybust operation, sa Pasay City, Sabado ng gabi.
Sa ulat, sinabi ni Southern Police District (SPD) District Director P/BGen. Glenn Oliver Cinco, nalansag ng kanyang mga tauhan ang lokal na distribusyon ng shabu sa Southern Metro Manila sa pagkaaresto sa mga suspek na sina alyas Zenkie, 28 anyos; alyas Alicia, 28; at Ryan, 41.
Dakong 7:30 ng gabi, noong Sabado, 20 Hunyo, nang isagawa ang buybust operation sa harap ng isang hotel sa Don Carlos Revilla St., Barangay 148.
Nasamsam sa naturang operasyon ng mga tauhan ng District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) ng SPD at Pasay City Police Station ang kabuuang 150 gramo ng shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P1,020,000, at narekober ang marked-money.
Isinailalim sa inquest proceedings ang tatlo sa reklamong paglabag sa Section 5 at 11 ng Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) sa Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.
“The interception of more than a million pesos worth of illicit narcotics and the simultaneous arrest of three high-value suppliers represent a significant operational blow to retail-level drug networks in the sector. The Southern Police District remains unyielding in its mandate to clear our streets of dangerous drugs and protect our neighborhoods,” ani Cinco.
