Philippine International PyroMusical Competition: Experience the magic above us

PIPC Philippine International PyroMusical Competition

MANILA — A dazzling spectacle of lights, music, and color is set to light up the skies once again as the Philippine International PyroMusical Competition (PIPC) returns in 2026 at the Seaside Boulevard of SM Mall of Asia.

Dubbed as an “all-out global showdown of world-class pyrotechnic mastery, music, and color,” the annual fireworks competition will run every Saturday from February 21 to March 21, 2026, starting at 7:30 p.m., featuring top pyrotechnic teams from the Philippines and around the world.

The opening exhibition on February 21, 2026, will showcase the Philippines through Platinum Fireworks, Inc., alongside Spain’s Hermanos Caballer, setting the tone for a month-long display of synchronized fireworks and music.

On February 28, fireworks masters from Canada (Fireworks Spectaculars) and Germany (Steffes-Ollig Feuerwerk) will battle it out, followed by France (LUX Factory) and Italy (Martarello Group s.r.l.) on March 7.

The competition continues on March 14 with Portugal’s Pirotecnia Minhota facing off against the United Kingdom’s Pyrotex Fireworx, while the grand finale on March 21 will feature China’s Polaris Fireworks and a closing exhibition by Platinum Fireworks, Inc. of the Philippines.

Organizers announced ticket prices for the event, with rates for February 21, 28, March 7, and 14 set at P3,000 (Patron), P800 (VIP), P500 (Gold), and P200 (Silver). For the grand finale on March 21, ticket prices are slightly higher at P3,000 (Patron), P1,000 (VIP), P600 (Gold), and P250 (Silver).

The Philippine International PyroMusical Competition has long been considered one of the country’s premier entertainment events, drawing thousands of spectators, local and foreign tourists alike, and reinforcing Manila’s reputation as a hub for world-class spectacles and family-friendly attractions.

With its mix of international artistry and Filipino creativity, the 2026 PIPC promises to once again deliver an unforgettable “magic above us” for fireworks enthusiasts and the general public.
