AT a recent event, ilang reporter shared other people’s honest opinion na si Carla Abellana raw ang dapat binansagang Primetime Queen ng GMA. Ibinase ang opinyon sa rami ng mga showbni Carla sa estasyon, all of which previously did and are currently doing well as far as ratings are concerned.
With grace, breeding and candor ay nagpasalamat muna si Carla sa mga nagsasabing she rightfully deserves the title, pero aniya, it’s a management decision which she both upholds and respects.
We conducted a random text survey among fellow reporter-respondents na tinanong namin ng, “In your honest opinion , what qualities do you think must a TV artist possess to deserve a ‘royal title’ given by a network?”

Alex Brosas: He or she must have a charisma with people. He or she should be an inspiration, a paragon of what’s beautiful and what’s proper. He or she should be iconic.
Jobert Sucaldito: He/She must be very popular and bankable. In short, pokpok! Ha! Ha! Ha!
Morly Alinio: Ay, Ingles! Nosebleed!
Richard Pinlac: Kailangan super-dami niyang fans na nakatutok sa anumang labas niya sa TV. Kailangang walang bahid ang kanyang imahe o ‘yung tinatawag na wholesomeness, inside and out! At importante na madala niya ang sinumang ipareha sa kanya.
JC Nigado: He or she must be a TEN. T for Topnotch Talent like Vilma and Nora; E for Endurance or durability of career and status like Vilma, Nora and Susan; and N for Nobility in character and spirit like Vilma and Susan.
Noel Ferrer: Excellence, consistency, goodwill and conscience.
John Fontanilla: To make it big in the industry, kailangang top-rating ang show at maraming TV commercial, and buying and watching followers.
Roldan Castro: Dapat nagre-rate ang mga TV show, marunong umarte at may fan base.
Melba Llanera: He or she must have talent, professionalism and passion for his/her craft.
Nora Calderon: Maging loyal sa kanyang network at marunong magkawanggawa.
Fernan de Guzman: He or she must set a good example, a role model. He/she must have proven his/her craft as an artist.
Roel Villacorta: You only get a title kung magaling ka sa field mo. Kung flopchina ka, parang nakahihiyang gamitin ang title na iginawad sa ‘yo.
Ricky Calderon: Consistency in terms of viewership ng programa, dapat top-rater at talagang pinapanood.
Eddie Littlefield: Kailangang may napatunayan na ‘yung artist, hindi lang sa box office at the same time as an actor para bigyan siya ng network ng royal title.
