At noong Lunes lang ay muling isinugod sa Medical City ang TV host/actress dahil mataas ang blood pressure niya na kung hindi raw naagapan ay mauuwi sa stroke.
Kahapon ay nabasa namin ang Instagram post ni Kris, “I’m headed home but I need to first say THANK YOU to my sons & siblings (Pinky & Manolo, Viel & Dodo, and PNoy who went straight to the hospital from the airport after his Cebu trip).
“I had a severe, vascular headache from 3 PM while taping @kristvofficial_ig, threw up 3X when I got home at 6:30 PM & when my blood pressure was taken it was 150/100.
“My sisters insisted I go to the ER because my symptoms were alarming. At the ER my BP was 200/110. Just a bit higher could have caused a stroke.
“Thank you Dr. Ramos & Dr. Martinez (my cardiologists) & Dr. Tiongson (my neurologist) for taking good care of me. I had my complete blood works done upon waking up & also my ECG.
“I solemnly promise to follow all their instructions, take my medication & I will never again abuse my body because I was a slave to my work. My goal now is to achieve a healthy work & life balance.
“Last night was a scary wake up call for me & my loved ones, but it also made me realize how much my siblings & sons love & care for me. It really put my priorities in proper perspective.
“I was told to have complete rest for the next few days & to try to be stress free. So I’ll be signing off while I recuperate.”
Samantala, bago tuluyang pinatay ni Kris ang cellphone niya ay naidagdag pa niya ang sagot ni Presidente Noynoy tungkol sa balikbayan boxes na binubuksan sa Bureau of Customs for random check daw na inihingi niya ng tulong sa kapatid.
Sabi raw ni PNoy, “Kristina, ‘yung sa Customs they’ll give a thorough explanation & a demonstration of the XRay machines to be used on Wednesday.
“I hope that I remembered his message accurately & I pray for a peaceful resolution for all concerned.”
