Hahahahahahahahaha! Na-invite kami ni Papa Abs sa premiere night ng Edna featuring the competent actress Irma Adlawan in the lead role and is ably supported by Ronnie Lazaro (who’s making his impressive directorial debut in this film that delves on the real and imagined fears of overseas Filipino workers as rivetingly essayed by Ms. Adlawan) and hunk actor Kiko Matos.

Sa totoo, hindi na kami nagulat sa flagrant exploitation ng kanyang pamilya kay Edna pero ang ikina-shock (ikina-shock daw talaga, o! Harharharhar!) talaga namin ay ang unexpected shifting sa characters nina Ronnie Lazaro at Kiko Matos na incestuous talaga ang naging outcome ng relasyon. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Imagine, mega-amused kahit ‘yung mahusay na character actor na nakaupo sa bandang unahan ng kinauupuan namin dahil sa passionate at intense na love scene (yes, honey, love scene! Hahahaha!) nina Direk Ronnie at ng talent ni Mell Navarro na si Kiko. Hahahahahahahahaha!

In as much as only the bare body of Kiko was exposed, the reaction shots were so candid and realistic, the audience inside the cinema were inordinately shocked at the unexpected torrid kissing scenes between the two macho actors that were passionately acted. Hahahahahahahahahaha!

But the star of the movie, beyond reasonable doubt, was Edna as passionately acted out by Ms. Irma Adlawan.

She was in character from beginning to end and was most brilliant in most of her breakdown scenes.

Do watch for it now at the CCP cinemas or when it gets shown in theaters nearest you pretty soon.
