BoC collections lumobo pa

SORPRESANG binisita ni Bureau of Customs Commissioner Ruffy Biazon ang Bureau of Customs NAIA upang alamin ang kanilang mga problema gayon din ay dinalaw ang Pair Cargo, warehouse, Postal CMEC EMS Customer Services at ilang mga opisina sa NAIA. (BONG SON)

PATULOY sa paglago ang re-venue collections ng Bureau of Customs (BoC) kaya pinaniniwalaang kayang abutin  ang P340-bilyon target ng Development Budget Coordination Committee (DBCC), ang inter-agency body na nag-aanalisa at nagrerekomenda ng antas at alokasyon ng lahat ng mga government expenditures.

Ito ang inihayag ni Customs Commissioner Rozzano Rufino Biazon, na nasa P300-bilyon  mark na ang koleksiyon ng BoC.

“Like a marathon where runners have kilometer marks for how far they have gone, we also have our internal motivational milestone mark of P300-B. We faced a blip in our September collection because of the changes that we implemented, but we hope to make-up for lost ground this month,” ani Biazon.

Inaasahan na tataas pa ang collections sa panahon ng Kapaskuhan kasabay ng repormang isasagawa at ipatutupad ng bagong pamunuan sa BoC.       (LEONARD BASILIO)
