MARAMING ipinagpapasalamat si Arjo Atayde sa pagkakabuo ng bagong seryeng handog niya, ang crime thriller series na Cattleya Killer. Isa na rito ay ang pagkakasama ni Christopher de Leon sa serye.
Ani Arjo, napaka-blessed niya na nakasama ang movie icon na gumaganap na tatay niya sa pinagbibidahang serye na mapapanood na sa Prime Video simula sa June 1.
Ginagampanan ni Arjo ang karakter ni Anton dela Rosa, isang NBI agent na sumusunod sa yapak ng kanyang ama, si Christopher.
Ang Cattleya Killer ay spinoff ng classic blockbuster movie na Sa Aking Mga Kamay na pinagbidahan nina Boyet, Aga Muhlachat Chin Chin Gutierrez.
Ani Arjo nang makausap namin ito sa Blue Carpet Gala Premiere ng Cattleya Killer, “We’re very much overwhelmed with the fact that he carried on a spinoff of ‘Sa Aking Mga Kamay’. And we’re very blessed to have him.
“While I was working with him, super galing po. He’s such a brilliant actor. No words can explain how thankful I am to be given the opportunity to work with him. No words po. Magaling talaga si Tito Boyet. So it was one hell of a ride!” masayang pagbabahagi ni Arjo.
Kasama rin sa serye si Jake Cuenca na gumaganap namang kapatid ni Arjo.
Maging si Jake ay pinuri rin ni Arjo at sinabing napakadaling katrabaho nito.
“It’s so easy kasi besides the fact that Jake is a friend, a really close friend, he’s also very generous as an actor. So it’s very helpful pag ganun na hindi madamot.
“We’re just literally giving, and enjoying the scenes. So again we enjoyed it and we collaborated at the end of the day kaya ganun yung whatever you’ll see in the scenes,” dagdag pa ng kongresista.
Ukol naman sa kanyang role, sinabi ni Arjo na, “He is for justice and equality definitely. Down the line, you’ll know why. I’m not here to spoil. I want to further explain but out of all the darkness around him, definitely he still believes in justice and equality.
“I don’t know to explain how I really get into the character but there’s a lot of analyzing at the beginning. Especially when direk Dan (Villegas) was trying to explain specifically how the character should be. I can’t explain eh.
“Definitely I just try to get into the character. I just went with every flow as an instinct definitely with the guidance of direk and what the production wanted for Anton Dela Rosa’s personality to be. It was all studied by the production and direk.
Kasama rin sa six-episode series na Cattleya Killer sina Zsa Zsa Padilla, Jane Oineza, Ria Atayde, Ricky Davao, at Nonie Buencamino. Mula ito sa ABS-CBN International Production at Nathan Studios na pag-aari ng pamilya nina Sylvia Sanchez at Art Atayde.
