TULAD ng karamihan, inamin ni Heart Evangelista na mayroon din siyang insecurities.

 

Sa Facebook live niya recently na Love Yourself Live! How Self-Love Can Save You, ikinuwento ng Kapuso actress na naging people-pleaser siya dahil sa mga ito.

 

Aniya, “When I was young, I would have so much insecurities. You know, I was such a people pleaser. I mean, I still am because I want to make people happy, but I make sure to make time to make myself happy.” 

 

Pagpapatuloy ni Heart, “We all have problems. We all have our crosses to carry. So many people to take care of, ‘yung family, ‘yung friends, and everybody that relies on you. But it really makes such a huge difference. You just pause and you take time for yourself, and you’ll be surprised (of the) many other beautiful things you could do for other people when you put yourself first and when you love yourself.”

 

Nang matanong kung ano ang ‘happiness’ para sa kanya, ito ay ang acceptance sa anumang bagay na dumating sa buhay. “You just have to accept the things you cannot change, the things that are really frustrating, and you just have to go with the flow. There are so many problems. Sometimes, you feel that it’s never-ending. But, honestly, this too shall pass. Sometimes things frustrate you, again, you just have to accept that it is what it is. But there are other things you could do to make you happy. You can take another route, ‘di ba? Some things will just end up to be perfectly the way it is for you. So, that’s just how it is.”
