INILAGLAG nang dalawang beses ng Palasyo si Communications Undersecretary at self-proclaimed National Task Force to End Local Communist Conflict (NTFELCAC) Lorraine Badoy nang ikawing sa anti-communist propaganda ang isyu ng pagpapasara ng gobyerno sa ABS-CBN.
Muling dumistansiya si Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque sa mga inilathala ni Badoy sa Facebook page ng NTFELCAC na nagbabala sa publiko sa paggamit ng Communist Party of the Philippines ( CPP), New People’s Army (NPA) at National Democratic Front ( NDF) sa isyu ng ABS-CBN franchise para pabagsakin ang administrasyong Duterte.
Iginiit din ni Roque noong Sabado, walang kinalaman ang Palasyo sa mga inihayag ng NTFELCAC.
“We wish to clarify that the above posts did not come from the Office of the Presidential Spokesperson and the NTF Stratcomms which is headed by the OPS. Hence, not the official statement of our Office/Palace. Thank you,” ayon kay Roque.
Habang si Communications Secretary Martin Andanar ay naghugas kamay sa post ng NTFELCAC na nalathala sa FB page ng Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) at Radio -Television Malacanang (RTVM) noong Sabado.
“We would like to state that the resharing by the PCOO Facebook Page of a posted content by the National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict Facebook Page regarding the legal situation of ABS-CBN Corporation’s broadcast license was done without the usual vetting process of our office.,” sabi ni Andanar.
“That being said, the posted content is not in any way an official statement or an opinion of the PCOO. The issue regarding ABS-CBN Corporation’s network franchise remains within the purview of Congress,” dagdag niya.
Ang NTFELCAC post kaugnay sa isyu ng ABS-CBN sa kanilang FB page noong Sabado ay tinanggal ngunit kahapon (Linggo) ay naglathala ng litanya si Badoy hinggil sa aniya’y paggamit ng CPP-NPA- NDF at umano’y legal fronts nito para batikusin ang administrasyong Duterte.
Binigyan katuwiran niya ang pag-eksena ng task force dahil ginagamit na aniya ng CPP-NPA- NDF at kanilang legal organizations ang usapin para batikusin ang administrasyong Duterte.
“The only one that stands to benefit from this chaos is the terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF and its legal fronts,” sabi ni Badoy.
“Facebook posts, while they have been taken down, are a brazenly criminal abuse of authority on the part of the NTF-ELCAC, replete with half-truths and outright lies that wilfully endanger Maria and the management and personnel of the network that government shut down,” buwelta ng media organizations at personalities sa pahayag ng NTFELCAC Facebook post.
Anila, mismong si General Antonio Parlade, opisyal na NTF-ELCAC spokesman, ay nagbanta noong Biyernes sa mga kritikong ABS-CBN shutdown na maaaring magdeklara ng martial law.
“In fact, General Antonio Parlade, NTF-ELCAC spokesman, indicated as much. In a May 8 Philippine News Agency report, while insisting that press freedom was alive in this country, also warned critics of the ABS-CBN shutdown: ‘Yes to law and order! Otherwise you might just get the martial law that you deserve,” sabi sa kalatas ng media groups at personalities.
Para kay National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon, Jr., vice chairman din ng NTFELCAC, makatuwiran ang pagpasok ng task force sa isyu ng ABS-CBN kung sinasamantala ng mga komunistang grupo ang usapin.
“If the left is exploiting the issue, which it is, then NTF-ELCAC must come in and at the least warn and inform the people about the issues. Freedom of the press is not the issue here. I go for law and order,” aniya sa isang text message sa mga mamamahayag kahapon. (ROSE NOVENARIO)
