AJ at Anna, inuna ang negosyo bago kasal

VERY soon, ang susunod na pala to walk down the aisle eh, ang kapatid ni Aga (Muhlach) na si AJ.

At ang masuwerteng babaeng ihahatid nito sa dambana ay ang kapatid ng singer na si Mark Mabasa na si Anna.

At habang hinihintay nina AJ at Anna ang pagdating ng araw na ‘yun, nagbukas muna ng isang negosyo ang would-be husband and wife—ang Sugar Baby.

“You might be wondering how we came up with Sugar Baby,” saad ni AJ sa kanyang FB account.

“Well, it all started with our passion for cooking. That’s one of the many things we love to do together. Our love for cheesecake is undeniable and so we tried making our own.

“First, is our Oreo cheesecakes in tubs. We made our first batch (8 pieces), and tried selling it online. It was sold out! So we made another batch and it was also sold out. We made more batches and then sought advice from Tito Alex (owner of Muhlach Ensaymada). He told us to make the packaging more attractive, thus the unicorn poop cheesecake was born.

“We started making it by crushing the Oreo cookies using only mortar and pestle, until we earned enough to buy a small food processor. We started making the cream with a hand mixer, until we had enough money to buy our own stand mixer. We started freezing everything in our parents’ refrigerator, until we had enough money to buy our own mini chest freezer. Everything we sell is handmade do it really is a lot of work but we really enjoy catering to your orders.

“Now, if you might ask why ‘Sugar Baby’? Well, it’s because we started it to raise funds for our future baby! Calm down though. We’re not pregnant yet! We’re saving that after our marriage which is coming up real soon. So if you buy from us, remember that you are not just buying something from someone. You are helping us with our future!”
