JERICHO, MARIS BEST ACTOR AT BEST ACTRESS SA 9th EDDYS

NAGNINGNING ang Ceremonial Hall ng Marriott Grand Ballroom sa Newport World Resorts kagabi dahil star-studded ang 9th Entertainment Editors’ Choice o 9th Eddys na handog ng Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd).

Nagbibigay-parangal ang The Eddys sa mga pelikula at artistang nagpakita ng husay sa pagbuo ng pelikulang Pilipino sa nakalipas na taon. Kinilala ng The Eddys ang mga natatanging tagumpay sa paggawa ng pelikulang Pilipino sa 14 na kategoryang naglaban-laban.

Big winner ang pelikulang Quezon ng TBA Studios. Sila ang nag-uwi ng trope bilang Best Picture, Best Director para kay direk Jerrold Tarog at Best Actor kay Jericho Rosales.

Itinanghal na Best Actress naman si Maris Racal

para sa pelikulang Sunshine ng Project 8 Projects. 

Nagsilbing hosts sina Concert Queen Pops Fernandez at television host and broadcaster Kim Atienza, at idinirehe ni Calvin Neria ang star-studded ceremony.

Nagbukas ang gabi sa isang espesyal na production number mula kina Fred Moser at Kanata ng Pinoy Big Brother, kasama ang young cast ng advocacy drama na I’m Perfect.

Sa supporting category, nag-tie sina Will Ashley para sa pelikulang Bar Boys: After School at Rico Blanco mula sa pelikulang Manila’s Finest sa Best Supporting Actor. Si Rochelle Pangilinan naman ang itinanghal na Best Supporting Actress para sa Child No. 2.
