FDA nagbabala sa publiko laban sa pagbili ng Luxe Skin

NAGBABALA ang Food and Drug Administration (FDA) sa publiko laban sa pagbili at paggamit ng hindi rehistradong food supplement na “LUXE SKIN BEAUTY TALKS L. ANNA Premium Oral Sunblock + Stem Cell Dietary Supplement.”

Sa FDA Advisory No. 2026-0162 na nilagdaan ni FDA Director General Atty. Paolo Teston, sinabi ng ahensiya na ang produkto ay walang Certificate of Product Registration (CPR), ibig sabihin ay hindi ito sumailalim sa pagsusuri ng FDA para sa kaligtasan, kalidad, at bisa.

“The FDA verified through its online monitoring or post-marketing surveillance that the above-mentioned food supplement is not registered and no corresponding Certificate of Product Registration (CPR) has been issued,” saad ng advisory.

Alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 9711, o ang “Food and Drug Administration Act of 2009”, sinabi ng FDA na ipinagbabawal ang paggawa, pag-aangkat, pag-e-export, pagbebenta, pag-aalok para sa pagbebenta, pamamahagi, paglilipat, non-consumer use, promosyon, pag-aanunsyo, o sponsorship ng mga health product na walang tamang awtorisasyon.

“Since these food supplements and food products have not gone through the evaluation process of the FDA, the agency cannot assure their quality and safety,” ayon pa sa ahensya.

Nagbabala ang FDA sa mga apektadong establisimyento na huwag ipamahagi, ibenta, i-advertise, o i-promote ang nasabing produkto hangga’t walang CPR, o haharap sa mga regulatory action at parusa.

Hiniling din nito sa mga kaukulang awtoridad na tiyakin na ang produktong ito ay hindi ibinebenta o ginagawang available sa kanilang nasasakupan.

“The Bureau of Customs is likewise enjoined to restrain the importation and/or exportation of this product as well as all unregistered food products,” giit ng FDA.
