Award-winning lifestyle and travel show na ‘I Heart PH’ magsisimula na ang Season 10 ngayong Linggo

MAGSISIMULA na ngayong Sunday, June 8, ang 10th season ng award-winning lifestyle and travel show na ‘I Heart PH’ ng TV8 Media Productions. 

Si Valerie Tan ang host ng naturang show at tiniyak niyang mas maraming aabangan ngayon sa bago nitong season.

Ang I Heart PH ay nanalong Best Lifestyle/Travel Show sa nagdaang 38th PMPC Star Awards for Television at nagpapatuloy ang winning streak nito sa nakuhang suporta sa Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), bilang bago nitong partner sa pagdadala ng latest sa fashion, beauty, lifestyle, food, at travel, na mayroong uniquely Filipino perspective.

Makikita sa show na ito ang marami pang lugar sa Hong Kong na hindi pa masyadong napupuntahan o nadiskubre ng mga Pinoy.

Ang host ng I HEART PH na si Valerie ay pormal na ginawa ang pag-welcome sa HKTB kamakailan sa media launch na ginanap sa Novotel Manila, Araneta City.

“The Hong Kong Tourism Board greatly values its partnership with I HEART PH,” pahayag ni HKTB Regional Director Liew Chian Jia.

“This collaboration presents a unique opportunity to highlight Hong Kong’s rich culinary, cultural, and entertainment offerings to Filipino audiences. Notably, I HEART PH is the first television program in the Philippines to offer a glimpse of Hong Kong Disneyland’s 20th Anniversary celebrations – The Most Magical Party of All,” dagdag pa ni Ms. Liew.

Ang HKTB ay naglalayong mas maka-attract pa ng maraming bisita, particularly mga Filipino upang madiskubre ang diverse blend of nature, culture and flavors ng Hong Kong, that makes it a go-to destination.

Sambit pa ni Ms. Liew, “Earlier this year, we proudly achieved a historic milestone surpassing previous records with 1.2 million Filipino arrivals in 2024.

“As we move forward, we remain dedicated to enriching the travel experience, offering world-class events and seasonal celebrations that bring Hong Kong even closer to the hearts of Filipino travelers.”

Samantala, ibinida naman ni Valerie sa naturang media event ang kanyang adventures sa Hong Kong.

Kabilang dito ang naranasan niyang pag-akyat sa 14-meter tall tower na ginagamit sa annual Bun Scrambling Competition sa Cheung Chau Island.

Ang naturang competition ay taunang ginaganap kada buwan ng Mayo sa Cheung Chau Bun Festival. Makikita rito ang traditional Piu Sik parade, na ang mga bata ay nakabihis ng costumes – usually as deities, mga kilalang Chinese legends, o celebrities na ipinaparada around the island while standing on steel frames. Kasama rin dito ang tanyag na bun scrambling competition, na ang mga kalahok ay umaakyat sa towering bun-covered structures para kunin ng “Ping An” (peace) buns.

Kakaiba rin ang experience niya sa exclusive dishes mula sa original Tim Ho Wan ng kanilang iconic baked barbecue pork buns, pati na ang Roselle-infused crispy red rice rolls and refreshing Almond Milk Tea, na parehong available lang sa Hong Kong. First-hand din niyang naranasan ang meticulous craftsmanship and authentic Cantonese flavors na nakilala ang Tim Ho Wan bilang global sensation, bago pa man ito dumating sa Filipinas.

Kabilang pa sa kanyang culinary adventure ang lively Temple Street Night Market, na sinubukan niya rito ang city’s beloved street treats — flaky, buttery egg tarts fresh from the oven and crispy Hong Kong-style waffles, na isang nostalgic favorite rito. Ang kabuuan nito ay isang authentic Hong Kong life.

Kuwento pa ni Valerie, “I guess, one of the most unforgettable experiences is my encounter with the Giant Panda twin cubs at the Ocean Park Hong Kong. I hope I’ll get to celebrate their first birthday this coming August. That will surely be one of the park’s most anticipated fun events this year.”

Ayon pa kay Valerie, marami siyang natututunan at nakukuha sa kanyang pagta-travel.

“When you travel kasi, parang… it opens up your mind, opens your eyes sa whole new expererience. Nakasanayan kasi natin, nasa comfort zone tayo. But when you go to a new place, aba marami pala, malaki ang mundo at malawak ang mundo! I think that’s the biggest thing for me. Also, connecting with other people and with other nationalities.”

Ang I Heart PH ay napapanood tuwing Linggo, 10:30AM sa GTV.
