ISA kami sa natuwa nang bumungad sa amin ang 16 na kabataang may kanya-kanyang talent—sa pagsayaw, sa pag-arte, sa pagkanta–sa paglulunsad sa kanila ng Cornerstone Entertainment bilang Next Generation of Rising Stars na ginawa sa Academy Of Rock Philippines.

 Sila ang tinaguriang Gen C.

Actually hindi na naman bago sa Cornerstone Entertainment na magpakilala ng mga bagong mukha na aalagaan nila at pasisikatin. Sa maraming taon, pinalawig pa ng Cornerstone ang pagiging talent agency nila hanggang sa maging full-fledged entertainment company hanggang sa nagkaroon na rin ng sariling TV/Movie outfit, Music label, Recording studios, Concert and Events team, at iba pa.

Pero hindi tumitigil ang CS sa pagtuklas pa ng next breed of artists. Kaya noong Lunes, ipinakilala nila ang 16 na kabataang kikilalanin sa kani-kanilang expertise.

“This is actually a long time in the making. We’re already building them up for the longest time and we feel that after so much training and preparation, this is the ideal time for them to be introduced as part of the growing CS family. Most specially at this time when there’s more demand for content. So we are putting the well-deserved spotlight to these new exciting actors, personalities and content creators,” ani Jeff Vadillo, Vice President ng CS Entertainment.

Bago ipakilala, sinana’y muna ang 16 sa pag-arte at ginabayan sila ng CS Artist Lab (Training Department ng CS), na kinuha ang tulong mga kilala at magagaling na director tulad nina Bb. Joyce Bernal, Dan Villegas, Antonette Jadaone, Rod Marmol, at Irene Villamor.

Ang 16 ay pinangunahan ni Generation’s Pop Princess at Idol Philippines Grand Champion na si Zephanie. Kasama rin ang multi-awarded indie at soap actor na si Noel Comia Jr.; Miss Earth Water 2020 at commercial model na si Roxie Baeyens; Breakthrough Actors, Ian Pangilinan at Paolo Pangilinan; TikTok superstars–Yukii Takahashi at Queenay Mercado; Oppa cutie Onie De Guzman at Social Media Heartthrob na si Eli Padilla.

Kasama rin ang feisty and sexy vixens na sina Angela Balagtas, Pamela Kaye, at Glenn Krishnan; angmulti-talented actor na si Aaron Gonzalez; ang Drag queen at LGBTQIA+ advocate na si Brigiding; at ang upcoming leading men na sina Marc David at Abed Green.

Ang 16 ay mula sa  different walks of life, na may iba’t ibang lakas at maio-offer, pero may iisang goal—ang magmarka sa industriyang ito.  

Ang GEN C ay patikim lang sa marami pang aasahan at aabangan mula sa CS. “We’re always on the look-out for new talents so definitely as far as CS Entertainment is concerned, the launching of new talents will never end. We still have a lot in store in the coming days,” dagdag pa ni Vadillo.
