Palasyo walang tutol sa suspensiyon ng 27 BuCor officials

WELCOME sa Palasyo ang desisyon ng Ombudsman na suspendehin ng anim na buwan ang 27 opisyal ng Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) dahil sa pagpapalaya ng heinous crime convicts base sa Good Conduct Time Allowance ( GCTA) law.

“It was the President who referred the matter to the Ombudsman. So that should be welcome,” ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Salvador Panelo.

Nauna rito, sinibak ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Nicanor Faeldon bilang BuCor chief dahil sinuway ang utos niyang huwag pirmahan ang release order ni convicted rapist-killer at dating Calauan Mayor Antonio Sanchez bunsod ng GCTA law.

“Well, the expectation is we want the truth on the matter in the bureau to come out so that the heads will roll,” ani Panelo.
