P1.5-M ecstacy pills nasabat ng Customs

TINATAYANG P1.5 million halaga ng hinihinalaang ecstacy pills ang nasabat ng mga operatiba ng Bureau of Customs (BoC), sinasabing nanggaling sa The Netherlands.

Agad itinurn-over ng Bureau of Customs sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) ang nasabat na ecstacy pills.

Sa report na ipinadala ng BoC, ang nasabing parcel ay naglalaman ng 1,010 tablets ng methylenedioxy methamphetamine (MDMA) o mas kilala bilang ecstasy.

Ayon kay BoC Deputy Commissioner Jessie Dellosa, ang nasabing parcel ay ipinadala ng isang J. Vermolen mula Netherlands noong Disyembre 9, 2014 para sa isang Martin Sean S. Duenas ng Parañaque city.

Dumating sa Parañaque Post Office ang nasabing parcel noong December 22.

”We will continue to work with PDEA and other law enforcement agencies to stop the entry of illegal drugs and other contraband goods,” pahayag ng Bureau of Custom.
