Regine at the Theater concert, handog ng Asia’s Songbird sa fans at loyal PLDT Home subscribers

ISA kami sa nasiyahan dahil finally ay muling mapapanood at maririnig ang magandang tinig ng Asia’s Songbird na si Regine Velasquez-Alcasid sa isang concert, ang Regine at the Theater, sa November 6, 7, 20, at 21 sa The Theater, Solaire.

Kahit si Regine ay masaya sa panunumbalik ng kanyang boses dahil matagal-tagal ding hindi niya ito nagamit.

“Now, I’m feeling a little better. Mas gusto kong kumanta ngayon.  Hirap din akong kumanta before kasi I haven’t been singing.

“So, I’ve been pushing myself talaga para makakanta ulit ako. So, ngayon we’re trying to do more singing stuff,”paliwanag ni Regine sa ipinatawag na presscon ng PLDT Home para sa Regine at the Theater concert bilang kasunod ng matagumpay na PLDT Home Regine Series campaign.

Ayon kay Regine, hindi simpleng pamamaos ang naranasan niya dahil talaga palang nawalan siya ng boses.”I got sick, I had acid reflux,” Pero ngayon ay medyo okey na naman siya. ”Nowadays, I’ve been talking… Yakult, and it has been helping me a lot. A lot, a lot,” giit pa ng singer/aktres.

Hindi naman daw siya endorser ng Yakult pero talagang malaki raw ang naitulong nito sa kanya. ”But you know, out of all the things that I’ve tried in the past it was the Yakult that helped me.

“It’s true, for those of you who suffered acid reflux, I really recommend it. I take it first thing in the morning before drinking water, before drinking coffee. Before anything.

“I had it very bad, like I wake up in pain, like I’m being choked.

“Ang hapdi talaga. And that was also one of the reasons why I can’t sing properly like my voice would crack.

“I’ve been talking it since January, it doesn’t cure it, but it manages it,” mahabang paliwanag ni Regine.

Ang Regine at the Theatre ang kasunod na proyekto ng singer matapos ang Regine Series katuwang ang PLDT Home. ”I’d like to say thank you to them who made the mall tour successful and the PLDT Home Regine Series campaign an even bigger success. I was very happy because they told me the units even went out of stock and subscribers have to line up to wait to get my favorite, the red classic phone unit, who would have thought of this reaction to the landline?”

Sinabi naman ni PLDT VP and Home Marketing Head Gary Dujali na, ”With no less than the Asia’s Songbird as our ambassador for our landline campaign, it was only fitting to shine th spotlight on her by letting her do what she does best—delight audiences with her remarkable live performances. We look forward to sharing ore of these musical experiences with our subscribers.”

Oo nga naman, sinong mag-aakalang papatok pa rin ang landline sa kabila ng palasak na ang cellphone. Hindi lang kasi maganda ang red classic phone, magdaragdag ka lang ng P75 a month lagi mong maririnig ang boses ni Regine na siyang sumasagot sa kabilang linya. At hindi lang ‘yan, may pagkakataon ka pang makakuha ng libreng concert ticket para sa Nov. 20 concert sa pamamagitan ng raffle kapag na-upgrade ka sa isa sa The Regine Series Telset mula October 1-November 9.

Sa kabilang banda, sinabi pa ni Regine na kakaiba ang magiging tema ng kanyang konsiyerto dahil may pagka-musical ito. ”Medyo mahirap. First of all, all the songs are difficult to sing, so medyo kailangan ko talagang maghanda for this physically, mentally, vocally kasi mahihirap ‘yung mga song ng musical, eh.”

Maririnig ang mga awiting kinanta sa Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, at Miss Saigon.Gayundin ang mga awitin sa Rak of Aegis at iba pa.
