25-taon MOA nilagdaan ng SBMA at LSB

LUMAGDA sa memorandum of agreement (MOA) ang Lyceum of Subic Bay (LSB) at Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) para palawigin ang operasyon ng paaralan sa Subic Bay Freeport sa panibagong 25 taon.

Lumagda sa MOA sina SBMA Chairman Roberto Garcia at LSB president at chief executive officer Alfonso Borda sa LSB Practicum Hotel kasabay ng halos isang buwan na pagdiriwang ng 11th Foundation Year ng paaralan.

Sa ilalim ng MOA, pinagkalooban ng panibagong 25-taon renta ang LSB sa kinatatayuan ng paaralan sa nalalapit na pagtatapos ng kontrata nito sa Oktubre 2015 at maaari itong pala-wigin sa panibagong 25 taon kapag nagkasundo ang da-lawang panig.

Sa harap ng opisyales ng SBMA at LSB, masayang inalala ni Borda na nagsi-mula ang paaralan sa pagrenta ng tatlong puwesto na nagsilbing mga kla-s-rum.

“We are very thankful for the support of SBMA, because from three carcass facilities, we have grown into a successful school complete with all the necessary facilities that our students need to have better education,” sabi ni Borda na pinabulaanan ang ulat na magsasara na ang LCB.

“To date, our population was increased to 1,500 students taking baccalaureate and TESDA-accredited courses, such as travel management, auto-mechanic, hotel and restaurant management, among others,” dagdag ni Borda na nag-alok ng scholarship sa 100 estudyante na ieendorso ng SBMA.

Dumalo rin sa pagtitipon sina SBMA director Benjamin Antonio III, Deputy Administrator for Admi-nistration Fernando de Villa, Deputy Administrator for Legal Affairs Randy Escolango, Atty. Lilia Elizabeth Hinanay-Escusa at mga opisyales at administrador ng  LSB.
