2 Pinoy patay sa lumubog na cargo vessel sa Vietnam (16 missing )

KOMPIRMADONG namatay ang dalawang Filipino sa paglubog ng isang cargo vessel sa Vietnam.

Ayon kay Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Spokesperson Charles Jose, kinompirma sa kanya ng opisyal ng Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs ang pagkarekober sa bangkay ng dalawang Filipino crew ng Bulk Jupiter.

Una rito, inihayag ng international shipping company na Gearbulk, kabuuang 19 tripulante na pawang Filipino ang sakay ng lumubog na cargo vessel.

Isang chief cook ang una nang nailigtas habang 16 pa ang patuloy na pinaghahanap.

Nangako ng ayuda ang kompanya sa pamilya ng mga tripulante.

“Our focus is now on the search and rescue operation and to look after the families affected. Gearbulk wants to express that their thoughts are with the Crew and their Families in this difficult situation, and also to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved for their help and support in this difficult situation,” batay sa official statement ng Gearbulk.
