Kim at Maja, matapos isumpa ang isa’t isa, okey na uli

IF there’s one admirable thing about ABS-CBN that involves its warring artists: ang estasyon na mismo ang nanggagatong to fan the embers  of animosity sa mga ito, only to douse water para in the end ay magkabati-bati na rin ang mga taong sangkot.

Finally, after one year na halos isumpa nila ang isa’t isa over Gerald Anderson, all’s well between erstwhile bosom buddies Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador. Naganap ang kanilang pagbabati at a recent event which either party—in her social media account—had seen it coming.

Sa departamentong ito nakabibilib ang ABS-CBN:  mismo kasing basurang ikinakalat nila sa publiko—whether real or imagined—ay sila rin ang nagwawalis.

Kim and Maja are two of the network’s major stars. They being such, kapwa sila pinoprotektahan ng kanilang estasyon without either of them being accused na pagiging kontrabida sa kanilang away.

Never have we heard na kinausap sina Kim at Maja ng management to refrain from badmouthing each other through Twitter or Instagram. Nagkataon lang din siguro that the personalities involved are not the palengkera-type who will resort to whatever cheap means or kitschy handiwork, lalo’t Kim and Maja are perceived to be educated adults.

James, komportable nang pag-usapan si Kris

JAMES YAP has never been this relaxed and comfortable kapag tinatanong na ngayon tungkol sa kanyang ex-wife na si Kris Aquino, even to the point of mimicking her nuances.

Nakaaaliw ang recent interview kay James who spoke about his chat with son Bimby tungkol sa current lovelife ng ina nito.

Halatang aware si James what Kris has romantically gotten herself into, pero ayaw niyang diretsuhing si Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.

“Politiko pero ‘di ko sinasabing politiko rito, ha? Baka sa ibang bansa,” James chukled.

If only sa pagkakaroon uli ni Kris ng bagong minamahal—taliwas man ‘yon sa kanyang pamantayan sa lalaki—at least, for now, there’s room for peace and cordiality between the ex-couple.

Kilala naman kasi natin ang hasang ni Kris na maligalig kung wala siyang lovelife, na puwede niyang ipagmalaki kay James who seems to have found an ideal partner.

The public, however, is cynical kung magtatagal ang relasyong Herbert-Kris base na rin sa track record ng Presidential sister who has had a string of short-lived, unsuccessful—if not scandalous—relationships.

Herbert is public yet he manages to be the private individual that he chooses to be. Isang katangian ‘yon na hindi kailanman tinataglay ni Kris whose privacy she wants for public consumption like a buffet at a fiesta for all the townfolks to feast on.
