“Dear Sir/Madam,
“My name is Paul Raymund G. Yllana, also known as Paulie Yllana, and I am humbly reaching out to ask for your kindness and support during one of the most difficult periods of my life.
“Some of you may know me as part of the Yllana Brothers, a family known in the Philippine entertainment industry. I previously worked as an actor and appeared in movies such as Hindi Kita Malilimutan and Barkadang Walang Atrasan, as well as television programs from the ’90s, including Mana-Mana and Ang TV.
“At another point in my life, I also entered public service and ran for councilor in Calamba, Laguna, and Quezon City. Although I was not elected, I remained grateful for the opportunity to serve and connect with people in the community.
“Unfortunately, my life took an unexpected and difficult turn in November 2025, when I was hospitalized and nearly lost my life. By God’s grace, I survived and have been doing my best to recover. However, I continue to experience serious difficulties with walking, maintaining my balance, and controlling my movements, which causes me to fall frequently.
“Because I am still unable to walk properly and cannot safely leave my home, I am currently unable to work and earn a living. This has made it extremely difficult for me to meet my daily needs, household expenses, medical care, and therapy.
“I am currently living alone and have no family to depend on for financial or personal support. My estimated monthly expenses include:
– House Rent — ₱5,500
– Electricity & Water — ₱2,500
– Internet — ₱1,300
– Groceries — ₱5,000
– Market/Food — ₱5,000
– Medicines — ₱4,000
– Domestic Helper/Caregiver — ₱10,000
Total estimated monthly living expenses: ₱33,300
“These expenses do not yet include my ongoing medical consultations, treatments, and therapy. I continue to require care from specialists, including Orthopedics, Neurology, and Internal Medicine, as well as physical therapy and other medical needs related to my recovery.
“I am doing everything I can to remain strong and continue moving forward, but managing all of these responsibilities alone has become increasingly difficult.
“I also want to share something that made this situation even more difficult for me. I previously asked a friend to organize a fundraiser on my behalf. Unfortunately, the funds that were raised were kept by that person instead of being given to me. It was a deeply discouraging experience, and I was left unsure of where else to turn.
“That is why I am now reaching out directly and humbly asking for your help.
“If you are in a position to provide financial assistance, any amount—no matter how small—would mean so much to me. Your support can help provide food, rent, medicine, medical consultations, physical therapy, and the daily assistance I need while I continue my recovery.
“If you are unable to donate, I would be equally grateful if you could share this letter with your family, friends, colleagues, and anyone who may be willing to help. Your prayers, encouragement, and willingness to share my story are also valuable forms of support.
“I may be facing this difficult chapter largely on my own, but I continue to hold on to hope. My greatest wish is to recover, regain my independence, return to work, and once again be able to provide for myself.
“I am simply asking for a helping hand while I am down—an opportunity to get through this difficult period and work toward getting back on my feet.
“To everyone who takes the time to read my story, shares this appeal, prays for me, or extends any form of assistance, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness and generosity mean more to me than words can express.
