FAN mode si Benjamin Alves kay Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon.

Nagkataon kasing nasa isang event si Benjamin nang dumating si Sec. Dizon na may meeting naman sa kaparehong establishment na nandoon si Benjamin.

 “Sir” at “Idol” ang pagbati ni Benjamin kay Sec. Dizon na gumagawa ng paraan para matigil na ang matinding nakawan at korapsyon sa DPWH.

Kinarir din ni Benjamin na makapagpapitkyur kay Sec. Dizon.

“I am a fan,” sagot ni Benjamin nang matanong tungkol sa excitement niya sa hindi inaasahang pagtatagpo nila ng DPWH Seceretary.

“He really did more in what, less than two months, sixty days?

“Man of action, I guess, that’s the best way to describe him.

“When he said he’s gonna clean house, you see it’s happening.

“You see him out there trying to do the service na hinihingi natin sa isang public servant, so I’m a fan.”

Si Benjamin ang gaganap bilang batang Manuel L. Quezon sa pelikulang Quezon mula sa TBA Studios na si Jericho Rosales ang adult Quezon.

“Playing the role na someone na kilalang-kilala, Manuel Quezon, it made me feel na, ‘Ah, okay, I feel like I have the right na to step into the role of the person, to personify him on film.’

“The first two, Heneral Luna and Goyo, nangangapa pa ako.

“Kasi when we shot Heneral Luna, I think second year ko palang noon sa showbiz.

“So, I’m really trusting the guidance of everybody on set. Natututo lang ako as I go, para lang akong OJT.

“The second one, Goyo, was also the same.

“The third one, Quezon, I felt like I’m actually ready. I guess, considered na seasoned na as an actor. I feel more equipped going into that role.

“It is important for me because it’s nice to be a part of something bigger than myself as an actor.

“I think it’s unprecedented that we have a trilogy movie. I think it’s so hard to have three solid movies.

“I think it’s hard to have one solid movie, so three solid movies na ‘yung continuity na ‘yon, everyone is familiar with. Napakahirap na gumawa ng pelikula na ganoon.

“And all the artists in the movie, we all agree na when we see each other down the line, ten years or twenty years from now, you can always look back into these trilogy movies na nagawa namin, and be proud na we’re part of something na nangyari sa career namin.

“Nakasama kami kasi I don’t know if it would be replicated later on.”
