ISA ang Pageant International- National Director/Businesswoman at Fashion Designer, Ms. Virgie Batalla sa pararangalan sa 10th Model Mom 2025 Philippine Achievers Award na gaganapin sa August 16, sa Music Museum bilang Fashion Designer and National Director of the Year.
Bukod dito, nabigyan na rin ito ng parangal ng Asian’s Woman of the Year 2024 bilang Most Exceptional and Promising Female of the Year in Fashion and Design, Outstanding Brand Owner and International Fashion Designer 2024, Excellent in Event Management 2024 at marami pang iba.
Kuwento ni Ms Virgie sa pagsisimula niya bilang fashion designer, “At first, I was simply a mother supporting her daughter’s dreams—but everything changed when I began creating gowns for my daughter, Marianne Beatriz Batalla Bermundo (Little Miss Universe 2021, Miss Teen Culture World International 2023, and Queen Humanity International 2023).
“With the encouragement, they told me I should design for other models, this passion of mine turned into a profession.”
Dagdag pa nito, “To be honest, my hopes and dreams have always led to one thing: success. I didn’t grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth—I had to work hard for everything. That’s why I’m genuinely and gratefully happy with how I’m living my life today.”
Ibinahagi rin nito ang isa sa biggest challenge na kinaharap niya sa buhay, “Overcoming the hardships of my upbringing. But my love for my daughters became the driving force behind my creativity. Designing beautiful gowns began with them. If it weren’t for my children, I might never have discovered this talent or created gowns for other models too.
“It all came from love. Love truly makes the world go round, but real love—deep, lasting love—is not always easy to find. My love for my family is unique, and because of that love, I found myself on a new and unexpected path. Was it a bad surprise? Not at all. Designing gowns has become one of my special ways of expressing love to my daughters and to others.”
Nagbigay din ito ng advice sa mga katulad niyang Mommy, “Never forget your love—whether it’s for your craft, your purpose, or the people around you. Love what you’re doing. Love who you’re doing it for—yourself, your family, your friends, your partner. Everything becomes easier and infinitely more beautiful when it’s done with.”
