“We really have to establish Quezon City as an eco-tourism center. And definitely, ‘yung sa showbiz set-up, we have to develop that. We are the Holywood of the Philippines at kailangan tayong mag-take-advantage riyan.
“Magtayo tayo ng museum, magtayo tayo ng areas, let’s say, mismong sa stations like in GMA-7, ABS-CBN, even in the defunct Channel 5 sa Novaliches, na mayroong areas na pupuntahan ang mga tao for tourism” anito.
Plano niyang magtayo ng Museum of the Stars sa Quezon City at ibalik ang QC Film Festival.
“Basta ito ang pangako ko sa inyo, we will have the best film festival in the country. I can promise you that,” sambit pa ng Kongresista.
So, itong bagong kompanya, we all know that it’s the Villar family who took over, and they will apply for a franchise, definitely, we will help.
“And we hope that it will still be in Quezon City. We hope that the existing facilities will be utilized by this new company, whatever company it will be.
“So, it means, ‘yung previous employees ng ABS-CBN will definitely have their jobs back,” paliwanag pa nito.
